Hi there, these are more sensitive than the tests you buy in the supermarkets and shops. The tests are sensitive at 20mU/IL whereas in supermarkets and pharmacies they are sensitive at 25mU/IL. You can generally start testing a few days before your period is due, but if you do you may get a negative as it is too early. At this price though you can afford to test each day until you either get a positive or your next menstrual cycle begins :) 9 Feb, 1:39 pm
